Lack of confidence and low self-esteem come from biased thinking that began years ago, usually in childhood. It could have bee a critical parent or being around others who were critical or even mean. Lack of confidence may manifest itself in many ways: overindulgence in food, drugs, sex, etc., nail biting, skin picking, etc. It can also affect your job, finances, emotions, and friendships. I’ll ask you to call on your higher power to help you pull out all those negative thoughts and put them to rest for good!
